Dawn Kurtz Thomas

— Visitation for Ms. Dawn Kurtz Thomas, 44, of Warrenville, S.C., who entered into rest June 13, 2014, will be conducted at Posey Funeral Directors Wednesday evening from 5 until 7. Ms. Thomas was a native of Oscoda, Mich., having made Aiken County her home for the past 18 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and Chi Sigma Iota. Ms. Thomas was a graduate of the University of Phoenix and was pursing a master’s degree from Georgia Regents University. She was employed by the South Carolina Autism Society. Survivors include two sons, Collan Thomas, Scott Thomas, both of Warrenville; parents, Gerald and Geraldine Kurtz, Thomasville, Ga.; and three brothers, Donald Kurtz, Thomasville, Ga., James (Stephanie) Thomas, Las Vegas, Nev., and Michael Kurtz, Jackson, Mich.
