Ella Mae McCray

THOMASVILLE — Services for Ella Mae McCray, 77, of Boston, are at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Henry Hamm will officiate. Pallbearers are friends of the family. Mrs. McCray died June 24 at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home. Born Nov. 17, 1936, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Lee Pressley. She attended New Union School and was a retired farm worker. She was married to Eddie Lewis McCray. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy P. McCray of Boston; sons, Jeffery McCray, Steven McCray both of Boston; brothers, James Pressley (Willie Mae) of Boston, Willie Pressley of Valdosta; sister, Mary D. Frazier of Valdosta; brother, Jerry Pressley of Boston; sister, Margaret Jean Pressley of Valdosta; sister-in-law, Geraldine Pressley of Thomasville; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lewis Carr. — Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
