Billy H. Dunn Sr.

THOMASVILLE —

Services for Billy H. Dunn Sr., 71, of Niceville, Fla., are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Pastor Mollie Danner and the Rev. Allen Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn City Cemetery. Mr. Dunn died Friday, Dec. 7, at Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville, Fla.  Born March 8, 1941, in Adel, Ga., he was the son of the late John Wesley Dunn Sr. and Tinnie Vye Crawford Dunn.  Mr. Dunn was retired from the Unted States Army where he served two tours in Vietnam as a medevac pilot. After retiring, he also worked as a shrimper and a web page designer. Survivors include a son, Billy Harmon Dunn Jr. of Niceville, Fla.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Richard Arthur of Choctaw, Okla., Brenda and William Wright, Leslie Dunn all of Niceville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Mark Dunn of El Paso, Texas; and one sister, Nina Wilder of Moultrie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Dunn. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home located  at 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.
