Jessie Clements Williamson

— Graveside services for Jessie Clements Williamson, 85, of Cairo, are at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at  Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo. Mr. Williamson passed away at his home in Grady County on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Mr. Williamson was born on Nov. 3, 1928, in Cairo, to the late David W. Williamson and Verlie Mae Collins Williamson. In March 1962, he married Doris Mathis Williamson, who survives. Until his retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator with Oil-Dri Corp. Survivors include wife, Doris Mathis Williamson, of Cairo; daughter, Ann Hardeway, of Hazlehurst; brothers, Ted Williamson, of Cairo, Buck Williamson, of Cairo; sisters, Louise Strickland, of Thomasville, Velma Hatcher of Camilla; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nina Martin. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Guests may sign the online register at www.clarkfuneral.com. — Clark Funeral Home
