Delores Costella Mills

Services for Delores Costella Mills will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Cairo, with the Rev. Alexander Mack as pastor and officiant. Interment is at Crestview Cemetery, Cairo. She was a daughter of the late Ruby Cloud Copeland and Anderson Copeland Sr., born June 9, 1930, in Cairo. She graduated from Washington Consolidated High School and went on to further her education at Albany State College. Delores was joined in holy matrimony to the late Willie Mills Jr. Delores joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member throughout the duration of her life. She is survived by a son, Garlfar T. Andrews, Sr. (Sandra), Lawrenceville; daughter, Delores Dezelle Blake (Robert), Cairo; grandsons Dr. Garlfar T. Andrews Jr., United Arab Emirates, Akpan Manning (Fleshia)   San Jose, Calif., AbioManning (Kristy), Thomasville, Odai Manning (Brittani), Thomasville; Darius Andrews, Atlanta, Joshua Blake,  Thomasville, Lissondro Andrews, Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Ayahna Dezelle Booker (John), Thomasville, Jennifer Martinez, Lawrenceville, Ameera Ruby Andrews, Lawrenceville; 12  great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
