Dorothy Willis

THOMASVILLE — Services for Dorothy Willis of Cairo are at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Friendship House of Prayer in Cairo. Bishop Ruben Addison, pastor, and Pastor Tony McGriff officiating. Interment is in Shelfner Cemetery in Havana, Fla. Pallbearers are Demetris Johnson, Larry Williams, Tony Wilson, Elder J.C. Daniels Sr., Terrance Williams and Shedrick Cooper. Mrs. Willis died June 18 at Pinewood Nursing Center. Born in Calvary, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Rosal and Claudia Smiley. She was married to Euriste Willis Sr. Survivors include daughters, Mary William, Velma Willis, Dorothy Jean Miles, Glenda Corker, Clara Boles (Tony) all of Cairo; sons, Willie T. Willis, Euriste Willis Jr. both of Cairo; sisters, Frances Nelomes of Rochester, N.Y., Bernice Bryant of Miami, Fla.; friend of the family, Dan Mickens of Cairo; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. — Weston’s Funeral Home
