Mary Alberta “Muh” Youmas

THOMASVILLE — Funeral services for May Alberta “Muh” Youmas of Cairo will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church,  Rev. C.J. Henry will officiate services with interment to follow at Crestview Cemetery, Cairo.  Pallbearers will be Gregory LaMoute, LeNorris LaMoute, Harrison LaMoute, Devin Copeland, Timothy Simmons and Dennis McGriff.  Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Youmas was born on February 7, 1936 in Calvary to the late Willie and Mary Lee Harrison.  She attended Grady Co. Public Schools and was a member of St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Calvary.  Mrs. Youmas wed Mr. Winston Youmas and their union continued until the time of his passing.  Mrs. Youmas was a lifelong resident of Grady Co. and she departed this life on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center, Tallahassee, FL.  Survivors to cherish her memory include her sons Willie Youmas of Charleston, SC and Stanley Youmas of Tallahassee, FL; daughters Loretta Williams (Russell) of Laurel, MD, Debra Copeland of Valdosta and Brenda Youmas of Macon; sisters Willie Mae Smith of Philadelphia, PA, Dorothy Knight of Jacksonville, FL, Virginia Harrison of Philadelphia, PA, and Lodia Ford (Dontae) of Tallahassee, FL; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 9 nieces and nephews and a host of loving cousins, friends. and acquaintances. — Cloud Funeral Home
