Vickie Jenkins Lehman

Funeral Services for Vickie Jenkins Lehman, 55, of Cairo, will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2014, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Cairo. The Rev. Joseph Smith will officiate. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Ms. Lehman was born on March 31, 1958, in Cairo, Ga., to Barbara Worley Laney and the late Charles Levoy Jenkins. She was a registered nurse with a nursing service in Thomasville, Ga. She attended New Beginnings Church of Cairo. Ms. Lehman passed away in Cairo, Ga., on Friday, January 17, 2014. Survivors include daughter, Wendy Hurst (Perry, Jr.) of Grady County; son, Blake Lehman of Coolidge; mother, Barbara Worley Laney (Ruell) of Cairo; sisters, Shirley Singletary (Roger) of Ocala, Fla., Phyllis Gainous (Lanny) of Cairo, Faye Pettigrew of Palatka, Fla.; grandchildren, Chloe Lamb of Grady County, Kelsey Lehman of Pelham, Blakelee Lehman of Doerun; aunts, Kay Worley of Cairo, Martha Bell of Cairo; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Levoy Jenkins. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Clark Funeral Home.
