Martitia “Marty” Martin Jones

THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Martitia "Marty" Martin Jones, 58 of Barwick passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Mrs. Jones was born June 20, 1955 to the late David & Marjorie McCann Martin. She was a registered nurse with Archbold Medical Center and a member of New Covenant Church in Thomasville. Survivors include her husband, Dana Jones of Barwick; two children, Matt (Lindsay) Jones of Thomasville and Dee (Jared) Renfroe of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Ansley Renfroe, Colin Renfroe, Anna Grace Jones, and Stella Kate Jones; two nieces, Amy & Eric House, and Tricia & Robby Hastings; great nieces, Grayson & Chapman House, and Celia Hastings; one sister, Pat (Lamar) Nichols of Pavo; one brother, Tommy (Carole) Martin of Barwick. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church in Thomasville with Rev. David Allen officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Barwick. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Barwick Baptist Church Social Hall.
