Robert “Bob” Lawrence Moore, Jr.

THOMASVILLE — Robert Lawrence Moore, Jr. (known to most as Bob Moore) passed away on February 18, 2014 at the Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA.  He was 71.  Bob was born in Syracuse, New York, but grew up in Tampa, FL.  He moved to Atlanta, GA in the 70’s and then to Thomasville, GA in the early 90’s. He is survived by his three children, Bethany, Bobby, and Daniel Moore and his sister, Brenda Lee (Wendy) Lloyd. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Brandy Carlson-Moore, brother-in-law, Wes Lloyd, nieces, Lisa Lloyd Ellis and Tiffany Lloyd Wigger, nephew, Matthew Lloyd, aunt, Dorothy Pennington, and cousins, Paul Garrison, Anne Ferrell Lanier, Michael Moore, Charlie, Paul, David, and Richard Pennington.  A Memorial Service will be held in the First Baptist Church Chapel, Thomasville, GA on Saturday, March 1st, 2014, at 11:30 A.M. There will be a visitation with the family before the service starting at 11:00 A.M.
