Nicki Sanders Simpson

THOMASVILLE — Funeral services for Nicki Sanders Simpson, 68, of Boston will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Steve O’Neal will officiate services.  Mrs. Simpson was born on January 1, 1945 in Greenville, MS to the late James Sanders and Elizabeth Phillips.  She was a member of Barwick Baptist Church and on September 27, 1964 she wed the late Mr. Morris Simpson in Barwick.  During her life she worked as a Bookkeeper for W.C. Teas in Chattanooga, TN.  Mrs. Simpson departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Camellia Gardens of Life Care.  Survivors to cherish her memory include her sister Jill S. Wilson (Rick) of Kathleen, GA; brother Jim Sanders of Barwick; sister Carrie Shearer (Don) of Boston; nieces and nephews Josh Wilson (Rebecka), Cassie Veale (Brandon), Lucas Shearer, Jesse Shearer, Caitlin Blair (Andy) and Kelly Sanders; great-nieces Elizabeth Wilson and Ellie Blair; aunt Dot Phillips of Colquitt and a number of cousins.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service.  Sign the Register book online at www.whiddonshiverfuneralhome.com — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
