George Gonzales

Services for George Gonzales will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Saint Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 11th Ave. NW Cairo. Father David A. Hamm will be officiating burial at Forrest Lawn Cemetery. Gonzales was born January 18, 1950, to the late Albino and Lydia Gonzales in Powell, Wyoming. He was a diligent and hardworking landscaper for the Bel-air Country Club. He was married to Maria D. Gonzales until his death. George Gonzales passed on March 4, 2014, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. Survivors include wife Maria D. Gonzales of Cairo; son Arnoldo Gonzales of Cairo; granddaughter Mariah Gonzales of Fort Worth, Tx., sisters Gloria Gonzales, Fidela Zamaripa (Lupa), Nelda Gonzales, Mary Pena (Sam), all of Fort Worth Tex.; brothers Rickey Gonzales of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Angel Gonzales of Louisville, Ky.; Gilbert Gonzales and Oscar Gonzales, both of Fort Worth, Tx.; and a host of nieces and nephews with countless other family members and friends. Three brothers, Paul Gonzales, Eddie Gonzales and Freday Gonzales and one sister Amilya Rincon preceded him in death. The family will receive friends at Cloud Funeral Home chapel on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 6 p.m. — Cloud Funeral Home
