Mary Addison

— Services for Mary Addison, Cairo, are at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. C.J. Henry officiating. Interment is at Walden Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Gus Mango III, Eric Cason, Chris Addison, Donald Corker, Jerome Smiley Jr. and Kendrick Wright. Mrs. Addison died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Tallahassee (Fla.) Regional Memorial Hospital. Born in Whigham, she was a daughter of the late J.C. Addison and the late Eliza Daniels. She was a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Bobby Addison (Sherita), Tallahassee, Fla., Alfredo Addison (Michelle), McDonough, Tally White (Richell), Rockmart; granddaughters, Monique Deyounks, Takeya Addison, Trinity White; grandson, De’Andre’ Addison, Elijah James, great-grandson, Ja’Zaivion Deyounks; sisters, Lillie Mae, Waycross, Annie Mae Turner, Albany, Julie Griffin, Philadelphia, Pa., Martha Addison, Philadelphia, Betty Addison, Philadelphia, Louis Armstrong, Cairo; brothers, Bishop Ruben Addison, Cairo, Deacon Douglas Addison Sr. (Eunice), Cairo; longtime friend, Minnie Mitchell, Cairo; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. — Weston’s Funeral Home
