— Graveside services for Faye Hall Cheshire are at 1 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014, in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, Ga. Faye Hall Cheshire, aged 93, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 20. Faye was a retired registered nurse who enjoyed a full and active life until her recent illness. She was a Master Gardener, enjoyed crewel embroidery and was an avid reader. Her happiest days were those spent with her family. She attended Wildwood Presbyterian Church. Although she spent all her married life in Thomasville, Ga., where she raised five children, she had made her home in Tallahassee, Fla., for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Howard Lee Cheshire, M.D. of Thomasville, her daughter Virginia Lee Cheshire, and her parents Raymond A. Hall and Davada Hall of Fort Valley, Ga. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Cheshire and wife Lydia of Savannah, Charlie Cheshire and wife Patty of Tallahassee; daughters, Susan Kingsbury and husband Howard of Sevierville, Tenn., Martha Dunford of Brewster, Mass.; her sister, Beverly H. Ramirez and husband Manuel Ramirez, M.D. of Houston, Tex. Mama Grand, as she was affectionately called, will be dearly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
