Roger Lee Dollar Sr.

Memorial services for Roger Lee Dollar, Sr., 74, of Cairo, Ga., will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March  24, 2014, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, Ga. The Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Services will conclude at the Chapel.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo. Mr. Dollar passed away at his home in Cairo, on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Mr. Dollar was born on June 3, 1939, in Cairo, to the late Gordie Leon Dollar and Mamie Whitfield Dollar.  He retired from Sunnyland Packing Company and Southern Manor Furniture Company. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Cairo. Survivors include: sons, Rod Dollar (Ashley) of Braselton, Ga., Todd Dollar (Jolene) of Jefferson, Ga.; daughter, Hollie Hayes (Shannon) of Ochlocknee, Ga.; grandchildren, Abby Dollar, Jack Dollar, both of Braselton, Ga., Katie Dollar, Davis Dollar, both of Jefferson, Ga., Brittany Jones of Moultrie, Ga., Kennedy Jones, Nichlaus Hayes, Joni Hayes, all of  Ochlocknee, Ga.; great-granddaughter, Graclyn Leigh Barnes of Moultrie, Ga.; sister, Louise Dinkins of Cairo, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Sue Dollar of Cairo, Ga., Juanita Dollar of Cairo, Ga.; nieces, Janice Hall (Phillip), Mary Griffin (William), Libby Shields, Melissa Ledford (Adam), Deana Dollar, Tamara Woods (Tommy); nephews, Ricky Dollar, Joey Dollar (Sharron) and Terry Dollar.  He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brothers, Ronnie Dollar, Jimmy Dollar and Lynwood Dollar. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service at the Chapel.
