Doris Williams Lamb

THOMASVILLE — Funeral services for Doris Williams Lamb, 82, of Pelham, formerly of Meigs, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate services assisted by Rev. Stacy West.  Mrs. Lamb was born on August 26, 1931 in the Flint Community of Mitchell County to the late Willie and Eunice Shirah Wiliiams.  She was a member of Meigs Baptist Church and during her life she worked as a Homemaker. She would go on to wed Mr. C. B. Lamb who survives.  Mrs. Lamb departed this life on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.  Survivors to cherish her memory include her husband C.B. Lamb of Pelham, formerly of Meigs; children David Lamb of Atlanta and Donnie Lamb of Meigs; grandchildren Stephanie Logue (Victor) of Thomasville, William Lamb of Winder, David Lamb, Jr. of New River, NC and Dana Lamb of Kennesaw; great-grandchildren Lynn Clark, Haley Logue, Holly Logue, Micayla Logue, Marcus Lamb, Chloe Lamb, Chae Lamb and Ava Lamb; great great-granddaughter Eve Cliett; brother Beauford Williams (Betty) of Meigs and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Eunice Shirah Williams and brother Albert Williams.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home Chapel preceding services.  To share you deepest sympathies and fondest memories, sign the online register book at at www.jamerson-braswell.com — Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home
