THOMASVILLE — Services for Mary Hough Darsey, 89, of Calvary, GA, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church, Calvary, GA.  Rev. Stan Godwin and Rev. Paul Day will officiate.  Interment will be in Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, GA.  Mrs. Darsey passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Bainbridge Health Care, Bainbridge, GA.  Active pallbearers will be: Johnny Darsey, Terry Darsey, Neal Darsey, Dean Darsey, Tony Darsey and R. C. Tucker.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church, and family members, Leslie Brunson and Brian True.  Mrs. Darsey was born on July 31, 1923, in Culloden, GA, to the late Charley Clyde Hough and Lillie Ruth Brown Hough Smith.  On August 17, 1940, she married John Keith Darsey, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 18, 1988.  She was a member  of Calvary Baptist Church.  She served as Director of the WMU from 1971 to 2004.  She was also a member of the Calvary Garden Club for many years.  Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny K. and Brenda Darsey of Calvary, GA, Charles Terry and Wanda Darsey of Calvary, GA, Larry Neal and Debbee Darsey of Calvary, GA; grandchildren and spouses, J. Dean and Edress Darsey of Atlanta, GA, Allison and Leslie Brunson of Hosford, FL, Nichole and R. C. Tucker of Calvary, GA, Bett and Brian True of Cairo, GA, Tony and Angelia Darsey of Tallahassee, FL,  Kristen Folsom of Calvary, GA; great-grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Darsey, both of Atlanta, GA, Slade and Addison Tucker of Calvary, GA, Alexandra and Kyle Brunson of Hosford, FL, Sarah Grace Darsey of Tallahassee, FL, Morgan and James Folsom of Calvary, GA, Brandon True of Cairo, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie Clyde and JoAnn Hough of Channelview, TX.  She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, John Keith Darsey, Sr.; grandson, Larry Keith Darsey; a brother, William Hough; sisters, Bannie Hough Barber, Hazel Strickland Creel and Jean Hough.  The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 6 until 8:00 p.m.  Guests may sign the online register at www.clarkfuneral.com. — Clark Funeral Home
