Freda Kay Roberts

THOMASVILLE — Services for Freda Kay Roberts, 58, of Meigs, are at  3 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Wilkes officiating.  Interment will follow at Big Ochlocknee Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dale Roberts, Cody Roberts, Dustin Roberts, Ricky Burgess, Bob Chamberlin and Blake Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Cook County Sheriff Department and Hamilton & Rockyford Volunteer Fire Department. She died Monday, March 17, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. Born Dec. 19, 1955, in Thomasville, Ga., she was the daughter of the Late Thomas Lee Roberts and Katie Lee Vinson Roberts.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Lee Roberts. Survivors include two daughters, Kyela Nicole Cano and husband Jose of Norman Park, Cecilia Cierra Roberts and husband Blake of Meigs; one son, Lee Roberts and wife Melissa of Adel; two brothers, Terry Roberts of Meigs, Gage Burnette “ Buddy” Roberts and wife Linda of Moultrie; one sister, Marcia Wilkes and husband Carroll of Meigs; nine grandchildren, Earnie Cano, Zeferino Cano, Dominic Cano, Thomas Roberts, Kaydence Brown, Khloe Brown, Brynlee Roberts, KaLeigh Humber and Anna Leigh Humber.      The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Moultrie and Colquitt County, 1412 1st Street N.E. Moultrie, Ga. — Cobb Funeral Chapel
