Georgia Beatrice Griffin

THOMASVILLE — Services for Georgia Beatrice Griffin, 90, of Ochlocknee, are at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Gene Brock will officiate and interment is in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Ms. Griffin died Feb. 28, at her residence. Born July 31, 1923, she was the daughter of the late William Greenbery and Annie Lucile Walton Griffin. Ms. Griffin was a retired teacher with the Thomas County School System. Survivors include niece, Beth Broeker and nephew Berry Griffin both of Arkansas, nephew, Herman Griffin of Ochlocknee; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Thomas Griffin; and a sister, Jewell Griffin Wilkerson. Memorial donations may be made to the Griffin Scholarship Fund or Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church, P.O. Box 675, Ochlocknee, Ga. 31773.
