Services for Jesse Warner Dollar Jr. of Thomasville are at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Bishop Charles W. King will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Dollar died Sept. 20 in Gainesville, Fla. Born Aug. 21, 1934, in Valdosta, he was the son of the late Jesse W. Dollar Sr. and Mae Toole Dollar. On Sept. 19, 1959, in Orlando, Fla., he married Melba Giddens Dollar who survives. Mr. Dollar was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a truck driver and loved fishing, nature and enjoyed making people laugh. Other survivors include son, Terry White; daughter, Sara Lynne Dollar both of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Randy Griffin of Whigham; grandson, Chris White; granddaughters, Lindsey Dollar and Carley Griffin; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Harold Hurst of Kingston; brother, John Dollar of Thomasville; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Lora Dollar of New Port News, Va., Joseph and Debbie Dollar, Stanley and Beverly Dollar all of Thomasville; several nieces and nephews; and beloved pet, Pretty Girl. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Griffin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. Services for Gregory Robert Hayes of Thomasville are at noon, Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at Summerhill Baptist Church. The Rev. Mitch Clements will officiate. Mr. Hayes died Sept. 19 at his residence. Born Jan. 8, 1964, in Arbor, Mich., he was the son of Robert and Yvonne Burrus Hayes of Plymouth, Mich., who survives. Mr. Hayes was a carpenter. Mass of Christian Burial for William (Clicker) Thomas McCrickerd Sr. is at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Jacek Szuster will officiate and interment is in Roselawn Cemetery in Barwick. Mr. McCrickerd died Sept. 20 at Archbold Hospital. Born May 13, 1913, in Braddick, Penn., he was the son of the late Thomas Joseph McCrickerd and Julia Gaughran McCrickerd. On May 27, 1970, in Cumberland, Md., he married Margaret Gaughran who preceded him in death. He was a truck driver and of the Catholic faith. Born Dec. 28, 1942, in Thomas County, he was a son of Benjamin F. Tillman Sr. and the late Beaurie (Vera) Hill Tillman. In 1961, in Thomasville, he married Lois Revels who preceded him in death. He had lived in Bronx, N.Y., where he worked at a car dealership. He attended Normal Park Elementary School and Douglass High School.
