Charles Wyche

THOMASVILLE — Services for Charles Wyche, 65, of Thomasville, are at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, at House of Joy, 6057 U.S. 319 South, Tallahassee Road. The Rev. Dr. Robertha Tillis will officiate and interment is in Aucilla Cemetery on Pavo Road. Pallbearers are Timothy Hopkins, Horace Sloan, Michael Sloan Sr., Michael Sloan Jr., Gary Wyche, Antwan Thomas Sr. and Marquise Hopkins. Mr. Wyche died April 29 at Archbold Hospital. Born Aug. 26, 1948, in Thomasville, he was a son of the late C.J. and Nancy L. Wyche. He was a member  of Church of Christ and an instructor at Thomas-Grady Training Center. Survivors include sons, the Rev. Anthony Charles Wyche (Chaquita), Ronald Jerome Wyche all of Thomasville, Frederick Wyche of Atlanta, Eric Wyche (Charmetrice) of Albany, Gary Dryden of Louisville, Ky., Jeffery Coleman (Shawrey) of Albany; daughter, Lisa Dryden of Thomasville; sister, Alene Wyche Jones of Thomasville; brothers, C.J. Wyche Jr. (Anreathia), Joe Lewis Wyche (Patricia), Robert Newkirk all of Thomasville; best friend, Charles Jackson; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The viewing is from noon to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church with no viewing after the eulogy. — Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
