Alberta Mitchell Herring

THOMASVILLE — Services for Alberta Mitchell Herring of Cairo, are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pallbearers are friends of the family. Mrs. Herring died May 7 at Grady General Hospital in Cairo. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ada Mitchell and married to Willie E. Herring who preceded her in death. She attended Grady County Public Schools. Survivors include daughters, Ada Bowden (Eunise), Virginia Warner; sons, Grant Shazer (Earnestine), Willie Shazer (Viola); sisters, Mariah Stephenson (James), Daisy Williams; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. — Weston’s Funeral Home
