Wanda M. Richards

THOMASVILLE —

Memorial services for Wanda M. Richards, 87, of Ochlocknee will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church.  Pastor Paul Blough will officiate services.  Mrs. Richards was born on February 11, 1925 in Tallapoosa, GA to the late Henry and Agnes M. Martin.  During her life she was a homemaker and she also worked at Fallin’s BBQ and Wal-Mart.  Ms. Martin, as she was known for marriage, wed Mr. David Richards of Ochlocknee on March 18, 1945 in Miami, FL.  Mrs. Richards departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.  Survivors to cherish her memory include her husband Dave Richards of Ochlocknee; daughters Patricia Brown (James) and Donna Butler both of Ochlocknee; son David C. Richards, Jr. (Diane) of Boca Raton, FL; grandsons David Ashe (Sue) of Chicago, IL and Jay Ashe (Kimberly) of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter Vicki Butler of Tallahassee, FL; grandson Leon Butler, III (Courtney) of Ochlocknee; great-granddaughters Miranda Ashe of Jacksonville, FL and Paige Ashe of Chicago, IL.  Sign the Register Book online at www.whiddonshiverfuneralhome.com — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
