Jasper Williams

THOMASVILLE — Services for Jasper Williams, 90, of Pelham, Ga., are at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church, 142 Curry St., Pelham.  The Rev. Fleetwood Price II, pastor-officiating. Burial will follow in Jo-Ro’s Memorial Gardens. Mr. Williams died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. He was born May 8, 1924, in Pelham, Ga., to the late Carlton and Pearlie Lee Williams. He leaves to cherish his legacy, a daughter, Ms. Velda Williams of Cairo; a sister, Ms. Sylonia Williams of Fort. Meyers, Fla.; three granddaughters, Ms. Lauren Williams of Tallahassee, Fla., Ms. Eboni West of Stone Mountain, Ga., Ms. Fatima West of Albany; one grandson, Mr. Christopher Williams of  California; one great-granddaughter, Ms. Larisa Williams of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son-in-law, Dr. Charles West of Albany; caretaker and niece, Ms. Annie Lee Ferrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
