Evelyn A. Zima

Evelyn A. Zima, 99, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Archbold Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2014, at Morningside United Methodist Church at the corner of Smith Avenue and Pine Tree Boulevard. Pastor Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Born Oct. 5, 1914, in Chicago, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Herman Henry Koenneker and Josephine Brichta. Mrs. Zima was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Zima. She is survived by three children, Allan, Douglas and Judith; six grandchildren, Pam, Felicia, Susan, Julie, Stacy and Douglas; 11 great-grandchildren, Jenny, Craig, Nicole, Sabrina, Dustin, Dillon, Matthew, Danielle, Amy, Austin and Ashleigh; two great-great grandchildren, Conner and Natalie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morningside United Methodist Church, 2007 Smith Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792. — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
