THOMASVILLE — Norris Levon Buchanan was the third child born to Samuel and Mary Ann Buchanan on March 22, 1956 in Thomas County.  He received his education in Thomasville and was a member of the Thomasville High School Class of 1974.  Norris departed this life on November 25, 2013.  He was a member of Healing Temple Church and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he resided for more than twenty years.  While living in Atlanta, Norris was recognized as an outstanding chef in several restaurants.  He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Yvonne Buchanan Armster and Patricia Buchanan McCloud, Thomasville, Georgia.  Two brothers, Samuel Lee Buchanan (Debra) of Atlanta, GA and Eddie James Buchanan of Thomasville, GA.  A nephew, Yusef M. Armster (Kim) of Atlanta, GA; niece Shironda Jones of Thomasville, GA.  Other survivors include five great-nieces, several cousins, aunts, and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mary Ann Buchanan, a brother, Alfornia Buchanan and a niece Kashuntra Jones.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Peaceful Rest Cemetery, Thomasville, GA.  Rev. Jeremy Rich, Pastor of First M.B. Church, officiating services.  Family and friends are asked to assemble at 9:00 a.m. at 117 Kings Dr., Thomasville for the processional.  Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  www.hadleysfh.com — Hadley’s Funeral Home
