Miss Johnnie Mae Smith was born on May 24, 1924 to the late Issac Mickens & Emma Belle in Brooks County, Georgia.  She departed her life on November 20, 2013 at The Presbyterian Home of Quitman.  Johnnie Mae Smith was raised in Hamm City Community where she became a member at Second Morning Star Baptist Church.  She was a faithful member serving many capacities until her health failed.  She attended Hamm City School.  She married the late Abe Smith. To this union, God blessed them with four children: Daniel Smith (Eloise), Abe Smith, Jr. (Lucy) and Willie Lee Smith all of Boston, GA. One sister, Eva Mae Hollis, of Boynton Beach, FL. One daughter-in-law, Elee Smith of Sarasota, FL.  A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loving friends.  She was proceeded in death by one son, Robert Lee Smith.  Two brothers, Issac Mickens, Sam Mickens and one sister, Mae Lou Porter.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Second Morning Star Church in Hamm City at 3:00 P.M. with Rev.
