Cleveland A. Bozeman

THOMASVILLE — Services for Cleveland A. Bozeman, 87, of Pelham, were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Pelham. The Rev. Dr. Beau Cooksey officiating, assisted by Dr. Steve Wooten.  Pallbearers are Kennith Hussey, Keith Newbern, Eddie Redding, Jeff Hancock, Doug Riggs and Toby Greene.  The honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church of Pelham.  Interment is in Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Bozeman passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at his residence.  Born in Thomas County, Ga., on March 4, 1927 to the late Doss and Sarah “Sally” Meade Bozeman, he was a retired superintendent of maintenance for Waverly Minerals.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pelham and a member of the Civitan Club.  He is survived by his wife, Fay Bozeman of Pelham; daughter, Ann B. Cochran and husband, Dicky, of Boston; son, Dusty Bozeman and companion Belinda Smith of Ochlocknee; grandson, Travis Carlton of Pelham; stepsons, Curtis Carlton of Thomasville, Lamar Carlton of Villa Rica, Wayne Carlton of Baton Rouge, La.; granddaughters, Wanda Hancock and husband, Jeff, of Ochlocknee, Nancy Newbern and husband, Keith, of Naylor; grandson, Josh Carlton of Kennesaw; five great-grandchildren; brother, Buck Bozeman of Pavo; sister, Wandall Shirley and husband Donald of Albany, and sisters-in-law, Belma Bozeman of Pavo and Theressia Hussey of Pelham.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Doss and Sarah Meade Bozeman; brothers, Odis Bozeman, Elery Bozeman, Bill Bozeman; and sisters Hailey Bozeman, Winfred Green and Gladys Redding.  No formal visitation was held.
