Imogene Thomas Jones

Mrs. Imogene Thomas Jones, 63, of Whigham, passed on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Georgia Regents Medical Center, Augusta. Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 3 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 4294 New Hope Road, Pelham, with the Rev. Derrick Calhoun, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Thomas Gardens Of Memory. Imogene Diane (Thomas) Jones was born April 1, 1950, in Camilla to the late Russell and Rosie Bell Thomas. She graduated from Washington Consolidated High in Cairo and also an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Franchesca Davis (Terome Cooper), Saketha Cooper; two sons, Willie Smith Jr., Cary Smith; six grandchildren, Edward Miller, Maurice Miller, Anastasia Miller, Khiry Huff, Jakayla Smith, Jakavin Smith; six great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers Bernice (Emmett) Caldwell, Annie Joyce Thomas, Alma Hayward, Juanita Duncan, Myrtle (Elijah)Barron, Phyllis Johnson, Jewel Williford, Calvin (Carolyn) Thomas, Lillian (Michael) Smith, Dorothy Marsh, Geraldine Lumpkin, Rev.
