Dinah Jo Singletary Evans

THOMASVILLE — A memorial service for Dinah Jo Singletary Evans, of Ochlocknee, is at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at Barnetts Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Blough will officiate. Ms. Evans passed away Dec. 1, at her residence. Born Nov. 30, 1962, in Cuthbert, Ga., she was the daughter of Shelton and Rhetta Ray Singletary both whom survive of Ochlocknee. Other survivors include a son, Wayne Gaines and wife Erica of Thomasville; grandchildren, Macy and Charlie Gaines of Thomasville; daughter, Annie Evans of Thomasville; a son, Rodger Douglas Evans III of Thomasville; sister Sharon Wingo and Husband Mike of Columbia, S.C.; brother "Roddy" Singletary of Thomasville; sister, Amy Connelly and husband Mike of Thomasville; brother "Jay" Singletary of Destin, Fla.; grandmother, Alice S. Davis of Thomasville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Other survivors include her mother-in-law Charlotte Howard; sister-in-law, Cindy Canfield; and a brother-in-law, Robert Carter.
