Robert Barton Singletary III

THOMASVILLE — Services for Robert Barton Singletary III of Thomasville are at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at All Saints Episcopal Church where he was a member. Father Paul Hancock will officiate. Mr. Singletary died Saturday, Nov. 30, at his residence. Born June 23, 1946 in Thomasville, he was the son of Peggy F. Singletary and the late Robert Barton Singletary II. He was married to Brenda Baxley Singletary, who survives. He attended Mercer University and West Georgia and was a retired accountant for Cleaver-Brooks. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Baxley Singletary of Thomasville; son, Robert Barton Singletary IV of Thomasville; daughters, Bowen Singletary Hudson of Thomasville, Jessica Fore Spurlock of  Tallahassee, Fla., Arden Margaret Singletary of Thomasville; mother, Peggy F. Singletary of Thomasville; granddaughter, Ella Bryce Singletary of Thomasville; grandson, Robert Barton Singletary V of Thomasville; daughter-in-law, Brandy Lynn McClain of Thomasville; granddaughters, Hailey Addyson Hudson of Thomasville, Addalyn Leigh Hudson of Thomasville; son-in-law, Samuel Gregory Hudson of Thomasville; granddaughter, Arianna G. Spurlock of Tallahassee, Fla.; son-in-law, Jason Spurlock of Tallahassee, Fla., sister, Rena Singletary Bowers of Meigs; brother-in-law, James A. Bowers of Meigs; niece, Courtney Bowers Butler of Ochlocknee; and nephew, James A. Bowers IV of Cairo. The family will receive friends at 310 Tuxedo Drive, Thomasville, Ga. 31792 after the service.
