Wilma Josephine Thompson

THOMASVILLE — Graveside services for Wilma Josephine Thompson, 79, Monticello, Fla., were at 2 p.m.,  Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Springfield Cemetery, Lloyd, Fla. Mrs. Thompson passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Tallahassee, Fla.She was born in Jefferson County, Fla., on Jan. 22, 1934. She was the daughter of the late J. M. Wirick and Marietta Wirick. She was married to the late Reverence O. E. Thompson of Monticello. Mrs. Thompson retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education. She is survived by sisters Mildred Boykin (Guy) of Lake Helen, Fla., and Jacquelyn Lamb of Thomasville, Ga.; niece, Connie McElvey (Robert), of Lake Park, Ga.; nephew, Randy Howell (Carol) of Thomasville; and several great nephews and nieces.
