Maxwell Reynolds Kravig

— Graveside services for Maxwell Reynolds Kravig, 60, of Brunswick, are at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo.  The Rev. Rick Turner will officiate. Mr. Kravig passed away at his home in Brunswick on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013. Mr. Kravig was born on Dec. 16, 1952, in Cairo to the late Charles Everett Kravig and Virginia Reynolds Kravig. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a weapons specialist with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cairo.  Reynolds was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandson, Max. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Kay and Chris Hinds of Columbus, Karen Kravig of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandson, Christopher Maxwell Hinds, Columbus; and sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Evan Burris, Houston, Texas. Mr. Kravig was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Kravig, and a sister, Kathryn Kravig.
