Ethelene P. Hornsby

Ethelene P. Hornsby, 94, a 14-year resident of Jacksonville, Fla., died on Jan. 17, 2013. She was born in Mitchell County and was formerly from Thomasville. She was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Fred Hornsby, in 1993, and her son, Robert Oliver Hornsby, in 1939. Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Tuck (Buddy) and Hilda Alligood; brother, Roger Glover (Pat); two grandsons; three granddaughters; seven great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and two great great-granddaughters. Services will be held on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Fla., 32221, (904-781-4314). Interment will follow on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Community Hospice of N.E.
