Lola Laverne Riffle

THOMASVILLE — Funeral services for Lola Laverne Riffle, 70, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at First Freewill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  Pastor Joe Murkerson will officiate.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Riffle passed away at her home on Monday, November 18, 2013.  Active pallbearers will be Eddie Osborn, Mike Sellers, Justin Riffle, Juwan Holland, Eric Mitchell and Casey Baggett.  Mrs. Riffle was born on October 23, 1943, in Cordele, GA, to the late John Robert Hollingsworth and Mary Jewel Lane Hollingsworth.  On August 18, 1989, she married Randy Riffle, who survives.  She was retired from the Torrington-Timken Company in Cairo.  She was a member and secretary at First Freewill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  She was a proud grandmother and loved to fish.  Survivors include: her husband, Randy Riffle of Cairo, GA; son, Michael Eugene Harrell (Falisha Gaye) of Cairo, GA; daughter, Tammy Barrow, of Whigham, GA; step-son, Randy Riffle, Jr. (Cindy) of Fairmont, WV; step-daughter, Annette Riffle of Fitzgerald GA; grandchildren, Michael Scott Harrell of Cairo, GA, Paula Kaye Harrell of Cairo, GA, Delilah Gaye Harrell of Cairo, GA, Darby Brooke Barrow of Whigham, GA, Jordan Bailey Ortiz of Whigham, GA, Justin Lee Riffle and Miranda Moore, Nashville GA, Anthony Juwan Holland of Fitzgerald, GA, Ryan Lee Riffle, Kristen Lee Riffle, both of Fairmont, WV; great-grandchild, Khloe Nicole Brooke Riffle of Nashville, GA; sister, Sara Parrish of Bainbridge, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by: her parents and a sister, Johnny Stevens.  Memorials may be made in Mrs. Riffle's memory to: First Freewill Baptist Church, c/o Inez S.
