Rant & Rave for June 14

“Now that Cantor has been defeated, the next three that need to go are President Obama, Harry Reid and the attorney general of this country.”

“The Second Amendment is being read wrong.  In reality, it was for a militia and for farmers to hunt game and wildlife. I own guns and don't mind if they run a check on me to see if they can find anything. At the same time, we need gun laws to protect ourselves from people using guns the wrong way.”

“The art takeover of downtown Thomasville will not provide a positive economic or social benefit for our traditional downtown. Research 'art districts' around the country and you will see that they initiate the social and economic decline of an area. This is a big mistake, Thomasville! We do not want the National Endowment for the Arts involved in our community in any form.”

“This power-grabbing politician sitting in the Oval Office has turned over America's freedom to South and Central America. He's fully committed to taking the U.S. down in order to surrender control to the enemy. Evidence just keeps building.”

“Hopefully, Eric Cantor won’t be the only leader in Congress to lose. Pelosi, Boehner, Reid and McConnell need to be ousted, too. Maybe then this country can start healing and moving in a positive direction.”

“Congress needs a clean sweep or a proverbial flush of the toilet.”
