“The noise from the car show was deafening. It rattled my windows and boomed in my house. I went over to check it out and the words coming from the music were all of the bad words you could think of. I can't believe they let something like that go on in Thomasville. I was disappointed. There was no peace, and hope my neighbors will speak up”
“The design of the new courthouse is very discouraging. I feel like we should keep in the style with the rest of the architecture of downtown."
“Way to go Cairo High School for getting your first region championship."
“Thank you to the gentleman in the drive-through Hardee's breakfast line on Monday morning. I was behind him and he had paid for my breakfast. I appreciate it. God bless him."
“This is a rave for your paper. My mother was buried last Wednesday. As we left Thomasville, we had some wonderful people from the Sheriff’s Office to lead us out of town. They were great. Many thanks to Stephen Jones and the Sheriff’s Office. Also, as we passed the railroad track ,there were two ladies out of their car with their hand over their heart. What a great sight and such respect. It is embedded in the family’s heart forever. I do not know who you were, but many thanks.”
