“What is wrong with all the up-and-coming Republican candidates for President in 2012?”

“What we are experiencing through the Obama administration is the road to ‘soft tyranny.’ The greatest threat to our liberty is an all-powerful central government (Mark Levine). Giving government control over health care will allow it to decide who lives and who dies.”

“To Lloyd Eckberg: We had to take an extreme left turn to correct the extreme right turn we had previously taken. We are now headed straight.”

“Mr. Eckberg is right about involvement in your local government. Barwick residents need to remember the police situation when they vote! Sadly, when we tried to make a difference in another Thomas county community, life was made so miserable for us that we had to move.”

“I would like to thank Jacqueline at the library in Coolidge. She has been working alone every time I go.”

“To the 61-year-old man without health insurance: Turn off your cable TV, cell phone, stop eating out each night and turn off your Internet service and maybe you can free up 60 bucks a month to pay for health insurance. Someone, please tell me one government run program that is not currently bankrupt!”

“Congratulations to Sara Whetsell on her talent win at Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen competition Thursday night. Also, a big congratulations to Emily Loftiss for her choreography of Sara’s award-winning dance number. Congratulations to the Miss Thomasville Scholarship group for giving young women these opportunities! We as a community need to support this group with our time and money.”

“To the person who thinks the Democratic Party is always there for them: I’ve got some beachfront property in Oklahoma I’d like to sell you.”

“I couldn’t believe the front page of the paper is dedicated to Michael Jackson — after all the trouble he has been in — and there’s not one word about Farah Fawcett.”
