Rant & Rave July 5

“I'm infuriated that the city council opened Cherokee Lake Park until 11 p.m. It should be open from dawn until dusk. That's plenty of time. If people can't walk their dog or walk themselves, they can walk on sidewalks. Taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for that. It's ridiculous."

“America used to be a great country. We have more and more people uneducated. We are becoming a class of cheap labor. The school systems are failing, but yet taxpayers are paying more and more. Learn from others in the world."

“When will we stop being stupid? We've all adopted the gimme society philosophy. No one wants to accept personal responsibility. Think before you act."

“Randy Young, your opinions don’t add up. You are always trying to highlight the

South.”

“Get it through your head, Randy Young. The South will never rise again.”

“I see no problem with Senator Obama flip-flopping on issues. All candidates, from the president down to our county commissioners, flip-flop. They say what they think the people want to hear, and then they change their minds.”

“Thanks to the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office for directing traffic during my uncle’s funeral procession.”
