Rant & Rave July 25

“Bill Raiford asked all the right questions to our county commissioners about the fire truck."

“At least John McCain doesn't think there are 57 states or that a bomb was dropped on Pearl Harbor as does Barack Obama."

“We have two hotels over two stories tall in Thomasville in the county. That's why we need a ladder truck."

“Thank you Randy Young for your column. It brought tears to my eyes. It brought back special memories. My husband did the same thing with our daughters. He's gone now and we have some wonderful memories."

“The city and county fire departments need to come together and merge. The citizens would save money. It worked before. The officials need to wake up. Two fire departments are not needed."

“Thank you to Becky at the humane society for finding my lost dog and being so kind. I don't know what we would do without them."

“Way to go, Times-Enterprise, about the fire truck issue. Keep up the good work."

“I left Thomasville on Thursday morning where gas was $3.99. I made it to Donalsonville and gas was $3.67, so I filled up. Why are gas prices so high in Thomasville? These towns are less than two hours apart."
