This is America, and everybody is entitled to an opinion and a right to be heard. If this is not published, then the editor is dictating his own opinions instead of those of all people.”

“The protesters are creating a safety hazard on Jackson Street. One protester stepped out in front of my vehicle, forcing me to stop to keep from hitting him. Police should keep the protesters on the sidewalk and off the street.”

“If you remember, Nancy Pelosi tried to pass the original 1,000-page version of the health care without even letting our representative read it. People of all parties and races turned out in protest in the streets and town halls of this country in opposition to an out-of-control government. They stopped the thing cold, so the Congress went back in session — the result of which is 1,900 pages of rules and regulations. They doubled the thing. Does anyone believe that these politicians really know everything that is in it? Have they even compared the legality of it to the Constitution? They swore an oath on the Bible to do just that. Our military take their oaths seriously. Why don’t our politicians?”
