Rant & Rave for Jan. 31

— “I’d like to know how many kids who were home from school Wednesday because of the ice were at Walmart during the time they could have been in school.”

“It’s so cold in Pavo, Ga., that the Democrats are keeping their hands in their own pockets.”

“Yes, I’m for all people making more money, but please explain to me how raising the minimum wage helps the economy. The businesses that pay minimum wage will have to raise their prices, which only makes it harder on people like me who won’t get a raise. Please explain to me how this makes any sense.”

“Mrs. Hehn, I wouldn’t be discouraged by the negative comments in Rant and Rave. It only goes to prove your point.”

“The race card is played every time white people disagree with the agenda of people such as Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and other people that benefit from but do not address the problems in the black community.”

“The race card is when black people use every opportunity to yell racism. It’s as simple as that.”

“Losing your job because your employer must pay you more but cannot, whether you're worth it or not, is not 'help.' It's a president who knows zero about economics, appealing to emotions instead.”

“Obamacrats love poor people and are working hard everyday to make more of them and keep them that way.”

“Ladies, pay attention. There should not be one female vote for any Republican at any level of office.”
