Rant and rave June 6

THOMASVILLE — “National Security Adviser Susan Rice on Sunday told America that PFC Bergdahl had served in Afghanistan with "honor and distinction." Immediately recognized as pure falsehood, the White House is frantically rewriting what she has already said. Who wrote her talking points, this time?”

“I  regard the crime of desertion as a sin against the army. Duty is ours, the consequences are God's," said Confederate General Stonewall Jackson, right before he had the apprehended offenders shot. Such leadership and the convictions of honor and duty have long since died.”

“A Taliban commander has declared Americans high-value targets for future "deals" with our illustrious "negotiator." We already knew that, but hoped our highest elected "leader" was not foolish enough to make it even more lucrative for our declared enemies. Thanks, Mr. President..”

“What you say may very well be true, ranter, but marijuana is neither of those things in Georgia. If you so desire, you are free to go and partake in those places..”

“A woman in Houston leaving a store, with two young ones in the SUV, hits a tree and is killed. What do onlookers do? Steal the groceries in the front seat. That is how far we have fallen, in the "new normal," anything-goes society.”

“Liberals have redefined the word "entitled," with their total lack of regard for existing immigration law. If you reach and succeed in crossing our border, you are somehow entitled to stay - adult, child, criminal, as yet unknown terrorist, doesn't matter. Easy to do when you're feeding and housing them with other peoples' money..”
