Rant & Rave for April 17

— “There are some people who do hate President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder because of their race. You can’t get around that. They are racists. You can’t get around that.”

“All you Thomasville citizens, why is there no outcry about the soaring gas prices in this town?”

“Eighty-six million full-time workers are pulling the wagon while 148 million are riding in it. There are more people on food stamps than there are women in the workforce. Ninety-three million are not working at all. Two in five households get some kind of federal benefit. Only one in four new jobs pays more than minimum wage. And, while Obama touts recovery, he is busy politicizing and ‘cooking the books’ on every tool of measure that exposes the truth. And some folks think he's not liberal enough?”

“Yes, I don’t get it. You have to provide a photo ID to cash a welfare check, apply for food stamps, get government-assisted housing, get a driver’s license, to board an airplane or get a passport. I see no good reason not to ID voters other than to manipulate the outcome for Democrats. It makes no sense not to have a voter ID.”

“Randy Young, next time you say something like 'stomach virus borne of Krakatoa,’ give some warning. I spit my coffee all over my computer screen and had a mess to clean up before my day ever started. You ain't right.”
