Rant & Rave for April 20

— “I would like to thank you for including the column by Dr. Ben Carson. That is very good reading.”

“People were hating on President Bush because he started two wars and spent trillions of dollars, and millions of lives were lost and many people were hurt in those wars. That’s why they were hating on Bush, and that’s not the only reason they were hating on Bush.”

“Now Thomasville has two fireworks shows and Cairo has none. That shows how those people in Cairo think. What a shame!”

“To the ranter complaining about high gas prices: You can thank Rev. Jones’ can’t-do-anything-wrong president for the high prices. He has blocked the Keystone XL Pipeline from Canada for three years now. This could supply one-third more oil for America, reducing the price of a gallon gas by more than one dollar.”

“Don’t look now, but Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers are already tanking. She won’t be our next president. Neither will Joe Biden. It will probably be someone who is barely on the radar screen.”

“Gas prices aren’t the only thing out of control. Have you noticed what is going on in the grocery store?”
