Rant & Rave for June 11

“In 1998, the minimum wage was raised in Washington state. Opponents said it was a job killer. Job growth continued at .8 percent, when the national average was .3 percent. Bar and restaurant revenues grew 21 percent. It is a myth that raising the minimum wage will kill jobs.”

“Assuming the Marine in Mexico had questionable motives, let’s trade five illegal aliens for his release and grill him when he gets back home.”

“The two pictures of the dogs on the front page made me want to cry. I don’t see how anyone can be so cruel and cold hearted. I have a dog and he goes to the doctor when he gets just a little sick. He has a medical file like I do and I wouldn’t take anything for him. I don’t understand how some people can treat animals like they do.”

“The 74th school shooting since Sandy Hook took place on Tuesday. When are we going to do something about guns in America?”

“Megyn Kelly is about to do something liberals have been trying to do for more than a decade — knock Bill O’Reilly from the throne of cable news. Her Fox News show is gaining in him, even beating him a one demographic last week.”

“Hillary Clinton has some nerve claiming she was ‘dead broke’ after she and Bill left the White House. I can show her what ‘dead broke’ is. Nobody will pay me a million dollars to give a stupid speech.”
