Rant & Rave for Jan. 29

“I hope Georgia goes ahead with the legalization of medical marijuana to help sick people. It doesn’t matter to me if they legalize it all the way because you can get it any day of the week at any time in Grady and Thomas counties. It should be legal so we can get taxes from it.”

“I beg your pardon, ranter. The Rev. Jones is on both sides. He is on the conservative side when it is his money and he’s on the liberal side when it’s someone else’s money.”

“Amen, Susan Hehn. The reason we have so many narrow-minded rants is because we have so many narrow-minded people.”

“If you want to know what the terrorists will be up to next, read Tuesday’s ‘Dilbert’ cartoon. Some good ideas show up in the comic strips sometimes, and I think this is one of them.”

“Susan Hehn needs to get herself together. Nothing she said can be attributed to falsehoods. Everything that the newspaper published was correct. It’s what’s going on in the world.”

“It seems to me that true conservatives, defenders of personal rights, limited government and the pursuit of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, should support the legalization of marijuana.”

“Susan Hehn, please do us all a favor and just don't read the paper anymore, OK?”

“The truth about expressing opinions is that everyone will not agree. Expressing facts will include statistics that prove their truth. It's the truths that bring out the cries of 'racism.’”
