Rant & Rave for March 16

CNHI

— “I read Michael Reagan’s article. I thought it was very interesting and very truthful. President Reagan was a great man. I am glad to have lived in his time.”

“I found a hearing aid at Walmart. I turned it in to the pharmacy department. That’s where you need to go if you are looking for it.”

“John Kerry threatening Russia? Really? This is one of those Vietnam demonstrators from back in the 1960s and 1970s — one of Clinton’s boys. Give me a break! What a joke! Another one of Obama’s puppets. Really, John? Really?”

“I’d like to give a big thank you to Len Robinson for the great bluegrass concert at the auditorium Friday night. It was very entertaining with great musicians and fun.”

“Unfortunately, a lot of people feel that a voter ID is a fee to register to vote. I'm unsure one way or the other. We are a growing nation and an ID should be required by everyone, but they should be free. The state or the federal government should distribute a free ID to everyone. That way no one can say anything. But go out and vote, please.”

“The Pew Research Center’s latest estimate of the number of illegal aliens residing in the United States now exceeds the number of unemployed Americans. This finding is based on Bureau of Labor Statistics and DHS estimates of illegal immigrant population. The president, and even some GOP figures, say the system is 'broken.' If you're selectively, or altogether refusing, to enforce the law, yes. If you want to overwhelm the country with Democrat voters — who are not legal to vote anyway — it's working just fine.”
