Rant & Rave for March 18

“I would like to compliment a server at Olive Garden. She was exceptional and very sweet. I was very impressed. Jess was a blessing to me when I needed one. I appreciate her so much.”

“John Kerry is a Vietnam War veteran and deserves respect. He's a better secretary of state than Vice President Cheney was when he was in charge. Thank God we have someone who has a level-headed mind. The people in Crimea have voted to be part of Russia. This, in reality, isn't our business.”

“Your coverage of the Yellow Jacket Invitational was pathetic. This event was not about Thomasville High School. There were hundreds of students who deserved recognition besides the Bulldogs.”

“I'm American Indian. Why don't all of you go back to where you came from? Quit griping about ‘illegal’ immigrants. Yes, I am sure they will vote for ‘the other party.’ All you ever do is say nasty things and hate on them. Would you vote for you if you were them? In 2060, whites will make up 43 percent of the population. Start building bridges, not burning them.”

“There’s nothing we can do about Ukraine now. We should have been stronger in the last few years. Our signs of weakness emboldened Putin.”

“The United States has given up control of the Internet. It’s just another step toward a world government.”
