Rant & Rave for May 24

“When was the last time anyone ran for office that said they weren't a Christian? Yeah, I don't know, either. ‘Christian’ is just code word for ‘Republican.’ They think they are the only ones with any morals. How incredibly arrogant and untrue! Atheists have more morals than the Republicans in this city.”

“Wow! If Republicans don’t know how to govern, what does that say about Democrats. Just look at the last six years under Obama.”

“What’s up with the fence at the recycling center at the Butler-Mason YMCA? It is making it more inconvenient to recycle, not more convenient to recycle.”

“I must be losing my mind. Dick Polman’s recent articles on climate change are beginning to make sense. Gee whiz!”

“If Congress changes the name of the Washington Redskins, it should also change the name of the Atlanta Falcons to the Atlanta Birds. That way, it won’t shame the name of the falcon.”

“I want to thank Dr. Eddie Seagle for the beautiful portrait he puts at the start of his Georgia Clipping column. I really enjoy it every time it comes up.”
